AMF PANEL

An AMF (Automatic Mains Failure) Panel is an essential component in power systems designed to automatically detect the failure of the main power supply and switch to an alternative power source, such as a backup generator, without any human intervention.
AMF panels are installed as part of generator installation. The AMF is connected to the generator set to control the operational function using DC supply from the battery.

Automatic Detection and Switching
When the panel senses a failure or significant drop in the voltage of the incoming utility power, it instantly triggers an automatic switch-over to the backup generator. This ensures that there is no interruption in the power supply to critical systems.

Load Transfer
When a power failure occurs, the panel ensures a smooth and quick transition of the electrical load from the main supply to the generator. This is done in a controlled manner to avoid power surges, which could damage sensitive equipment.

Monitoring and Alarm Functions
In the event of any abnormal condition, the AMF panel triggers alarms or notifications to alert operators about faults, overloads, or low fuel levels.
